"It started with a visit to the NSBRC Show - by the time we left Swindon after a long conversation with you, we knew a whole lot more and had made the firm decisions not only to go with SIPs, but also with Point1.

What a great decision that was – not only do we now have the most stunning house (or at least shell) but we have also had the best possible support getting to this point. On the technical side, your detailed drawings, 3-D renderings and explanations have been a revelation: clear, even to the layman, accurate and eminently flexible. We have been particularly impressed by your team’s ability and speed in responding to any and all queries, from us or from Milton, and your attitude that nothing is too much trouble.

We would like to say a particular thank you for Kris Taylor – he has been a great project manager, knowledgeable, sensible (not to say cautious), focused on the detail and always available with information or help. Much more important to us, he is a truly lovely guy and we have had just the best fun working with him from start to finish. He has been a vital part of this project and we are so glad to have had him on board.

Leon and his team were outstanding, in our view. Not only did they do a great job putting up the house, but they were a joy to work with, courteous, funny and helpful. They were also prepared to spend time explaining the detail of what they were doing and why, satisfying our endless curiosity!

So a huge thank you to all at Point1 – you, Nick, Kris, Nicola, and all your colleagues – for making the whole experience an easy and joyous one. We will unhesitatingly recommend you and wish you all the very best for a successful and happy future. You certainly deserve it"

"We can’t praise your team enough for the service, support and professionalism you demonstrated throughout our relationship with you. From architect’s planning drawings, through interpretation, structural design, manufacturing specification, and review, you were there to address our concerns no matter how small or how ill-informed they may have been.  

When it came to planning the erection of a complex structure on a ridiculously cramped site, you supported our engagement with neighbours affected by the process and gave us a shoulder to cry on as together we dealt with the issues that were raised. While site erection presented significant technical problems, your erection team rose to the occasion and the job was completed with the minimum of delay. You dragged this “self-builder” up the learning curve to the point where over-confidence becomes as perilous as earlier ignorance!

Which is where a final “sign-off” comment from Point 1 really says it all. “We know you will never build another house, but we regard you as a “customer for life” – if you need us for advice as the build progresses, we are here for you.”  

There will be a house-warming party at some point… and the team from Point 1 will be at the top of our invitation list"

"Both Jo and I would just wanted to say a big thank you to you Leon and his team, the lorry delivery driver, who went out of his way coming down on a Sunday so not to upset the neighbours on a weekday. You all did a truly amazing Job, the guys worked so hard putting in long hours. We just wanted to say how pleased we are with the results it’s a lovely house , our forever home. We don’t intend to do it again lol but you can definitely be assured that we would recommend point 1 to any other neighbours or friends in the future."

I'm sorry we were so last minute with the changes to the big internal window but I will forever be grateful with the result. It is magnificent and makes a proper wow factor in what is really quite a small house. I will treasure and appreciate it for years to come. I will send a picture when it is finally finished with its Art Nouveau shape!

I know this has been just a job for you all and we have paid a lot of money for it (worth every penny though!) but it has been a pleasure to support your work with hospitality and it is 'the cherry on the cake' to be appreciated so much! You guys built us a house- it's the least we can do!

We will certainly send copies of any timelapse videos we make to you and you have the timelapse and live camera details so you can log in to check out progress.
